ARE YOU NEXT?

Tell me WHY an AMERICAN SCUMBAG whose views and POSSIBLE BEHAVIOR are so REPREHENSIBLE that they can be KILLED by the government WITHOUT the benefit of a TRIAL.

Is it right if ...

OKAY, GET THIS ARGUMENT OUT OF THE WAY, IF YOU OR I RESIST ARREST OR TAKE UP ARMS SHOOTING AT PROPERTY, PEOPLE, OUR POLICE OR TROOPS THE PEOPLE AND THE GOVERNMENT HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO SHOOT BACK AND KILL YOU.

Due process is the legal principle that the government must respect all of the legal rights that are owed to a person according to the law. protecting individual persons from the government. This concept dates to the Magna Carta (circa 1215) and has been embraced by the American legal system.

The Declaration of Independence (July 4, 1776) states .... " We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." HHHMMMNNN ...

THIS MEANS God gave us a right to LIFE, so ... nope this does not give us the impression the government can KILL YOU without a trial.

DOES THE PREAMBLE OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION (Sept. 17, 1787) GIVE THE GOVERNMENT THE RIGHT TO KILL US WITHOUT TRIAL? ...."We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Would killing YOU or ME if we fit the aforementioned premise of this argument be in keeping with "insure domestic tranquility" or "provide for the common good" or "promote the general welfare".

Freedom of speech is limited and does not protect speech which incites crime. If an American uses a web site hosted outside the United States and that web site espouses views critical of the United States and uses speech advocating violence against Americans, WHAT AMERICAN LAW is broken? Common sense dictates this asshole needs to be held accountable.

But when does that level of speech rise to the level of allowing the government to KILL YOU (or me) without the burden of proving you're guilty of a crime punishable by the DEATH PENALTY?

The FIFTH Amendment (Dec. 15, 1791) to the United States Constitution forbids a trial for a major crime except and only AFTER an indictment by a Grand Jury.

The SIXTH Amendment (Dec. 15, 1791) guarantees a SPEEDY TRIAL for criminal offenses. trial by jury, right to legal counsel, right to present witnesses, right to know the charges. Further the CITIZENS of the United States shall not be deprived of LIFE, Liberty or property without DUE PROCESS.

The EIGHT Amendment (Dec. 15, 1791) forbids excessive bail or fines and cruel and unusual punishment.

Anwar al-Awlaki was a reprehensible SCUMBAG whose speech MAY HAVE risen to an illegal level.His actions MAY HAVE been criminal. But he was an AMERICAN CITIZEN who was killed by the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT without a trial in spite of the protections afforded EVERY CITIZEN, even the scumbags among us like him.

Isn't every American entitled to his or her day in court? This article doesn't even touch on our rights to appeal a conviction. We allow the most heinous of murderers to remain on Death Row for decades while their appeals are heard on the most mundane of arguments not germane to their guilt.

President Obama issued the KILL ORDER publicly, it was carried out, he has taken credit for it and should now be held accountable by standing trial for the numerous violations of our constitution and for the illegal taking of a reprehensible SCUMBAG'S life. At least that is my opinion.
