Congressman Barney Frank

Politically powerful and extremely repulsive. Hmmmnn. Sounds like some other disgraced Congressman and Senators from both sides of the aisle. He's got political staying power for certain. He may be the Teflon Don of the Congress. 20 years ago he was disgraced and yet 70% of the voters returned him to office.

Others who have had sexual shenanigans have found themselves back home and out of a job for awhile. Do you think John Edwards has a future? Frank has had two. First it was a gay hooker he lived with for over a year who used the Congressman's apartment to turn tricks. Then it was his open love relationship with an executive of Fannie Mae. Fannie Mae got tons of your money in one of the 2008 bailouts. According to an article written by Jeff Poor of the Business and Media Institute Congressman Frank has "derailed efforts to regulate the institution, as well as denying it posed any financial risk".

Frank has been wrong on the issues while on Capitol Hill, what politician hasn't? But to be so wrong on the mortgage mess and financial meltdown, yet emerge as a leader of the recovery plan, a media darling and one of the President's key guys in the Congress is mind boggling. As long as the good people of Massachusetts keep returning this morally bankrupt jackass to Washington they don't have to put up with him at home. What a plan.
